Apple Mac Computers are supposed to be much secured than Windows from preventing viruses and malware out of its context, but that is simply not true anymore. It is not because Mac OS X is getting worse every day, but because hackers are getting intelligent and complicated these days. The unfortunate thing for Mac computers users is that malware targeting webcams and microphones have now come up for Mac laptops as well.Patrick Wardle, an ex-NSA staffer who directs research at security intelligence firm Synack, invented a way for Mac malware to drain into your live feeds from Mac’s built-in webcam and microphone to locally record you even without detection. The "attack" operates like this. The malware quietly monitors for user-initiated video sessions like FaceTime or Skype video calls then piggybacks the webcam or microphone to record the session secretly. Malware record both the audio and video without risk of detection, because the light is already on and there are no visible signs of this malicious action.
